Local and independently-run bookstore, Octopus Books, is coming to FPSA soon for a book fair as a fundraiser for the library! There are various ways to participate:

1. All students can enter their name into a draw for a free book, courtesy of Octopus Books. Two student names will be drawn at the end of the book fair.
2. Every class will have a scheduled visit to the book fair between May 1-2. Families may send money to school with their child on the day of their scheduled visit if this is something that you wish for them to participate in. The date of your child's visit will be posted in their Google classroom leading up to the book fair. Note that although there will be a range of books available, most will cost $15 - $20 (plus 5% tax). 
3. The book fair will be available for students and their families on Thursday, May 1 from 5-7:30pm, before the school play. Consider coming to FPSA that evening to enjoy both of these exciting school activities!
4. The book fair is also being run virtually. Books ordered online will be delivered to the school. This is a great option for families unable to attend in person. https://octopusbooks.ca/book-fair
5. Finally, there will be a library wishlist on the virtual site should you wish to purchase a book for our library.
