Welcome to our new Grade 7 families (Grade 8 families, more information will be posted in the coming days!), 

We at FPSA are looking forward to getting the 2025-2026 school year off to a positive start! We would like to invite our new grade, 7 students, to our WEB (Where Everyone Belongs) Orientation day, run by grade 8 student leaders. The staff at FPSA know that the transition into Grade 7 can be exciting, but that it can also cause feelings of stress for some students. Having an opportunity to get together with peers and WEB leaders before the school year starts will help ease the transition and develop a sense of community for the students. 

Orientation will be held on Wednesday, August 27th at 12:30 pm and will be approximately an hour and half long. We are asking all new Grade 7 students to meet on the basketball courts at the back of the school. The Orientation is for students only. If parents are dropping off their child you can return to pick up them at 2:00 pm and meet them on the basketball courts.

As previously mentioned, this is an opportunity to connect with other incoming FPSA students, do some activities as a group, meet a few friendly grade 8 students, and get a tour of the school. The Orientation will be run by students and will not address questions specific to classes, programming or schedules.

To help us know how many students to expect, please complete the Google form to let us know if your Grade 7 student will be attending the Orientation Day by Sunday August 24th.
